3. Accommodation Guide

  • Any accommodation information provided by the organisers is for guidance only.

  • Participants are responsible for checking, booking, and managing their own accommodation and transportation arrangements.

4. Health & Safety

  • Surfing and related activities carry inherent risks. By attending the course, you confirm that you are physically fit and able to participate safely.

  • You must inform the organisers of any medical conditions, injuries, or relevant health issues before taking part.

  • Pregnancy: If you are pregnant, you must inform the organisers before attending the course and seek appropriate advice from your midwife, GP, or other qualified healthcare professional regarding your participation in surfing and the activities included in the course. The decision to participate remains your responsibility, and you should only take part where you have been advised that it is appropriate for you to do so.

  • Pregnancy may increase or alter the risks associated with physical activity and surfing, and your ability to participate may change during the course. You are responsible for informing the organisers if you feel unwell, experience any symptoms or discomfort, or no longer feel able to participate safely. Coaches may modify or stop an activity where they consider this necessary for safety.

  • Choosing not to participate, being advised not to participate, experiencing pregnancy-related illness or symptoms, or becoming unable to participate due to pregnancy does not entitle the participant to a refund outside of the standard Cancellation Policy.

  • The organisers and coaches do not provide medical advice and cannot assess whether participation is medically suitable for an individual pregnancy.

  • Qualified instructors will prioritise safety at all times, but participants take part at their own risk.

5. Liability

  • The organisers accept no liability for loss, damage, injury, or illness sustained during the retreat, except where directly caused by negligence.

  • Where a participant is pregnant, the organisers accept no responsibility for pregnancy-related illness, symptoms, complications, or any change in the participant’s ability to take part, where the participant has chosen to participate following appropriate medical advice.

  • You are responsible for your own belongings at all times.

6. Insurance

  • We strongly recommend that you have appropriate personal insurance to cover surf activities, medical needs, and travel.

7. Code of Conduct

  • Respect towards fellow participants, instructors, and the local community is expected at all times.

  • The organisers reserve the right to ask any participant to leave the course if their behaviour is deemed unsafe, inappropriate, or disruptive. No refund will be given in this case.

8. Photography & Media

  • Photos and videos may be taken during the course for promotional purposes. Please let us know in advance if you do not wish to appear in this material.

9. Governing Law

  • These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England & Wales.

10. Data Protection

  • We collect and process personal information for the purposes of administering your booking, ensuring your safety during the course, and fulfilling our contractual obligations.

  • Where you have explicitly opted in, we may also contact you with updates about future courses, retreats, or related events. You can withdraw your consent at any time.

  • Your data will be stored securely and retained only for as long as necessary for operational, legal, or insurance purposes.

  • We will never share your personal data with third parties without your consent, except where required by law or for essential service provision (e.g. emergency services if required).

  • You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data in accordance with UK GDPR.

11. Course Details

  • The number and timing of surf sessions outlined in the course schedule are indicative and subject to weather and surf conditions.

  • If a surf session cannot safely be delivered, an alternative coaching activity will be provided (e.g. theory session, video analysis, mobility training, breathwork or land-based technical drills).

  • No refunds will be issued due to unfavourable surf or weather conditions.

12. Changes and Transfers

  • Requests to transfer to an alternative course date must be made in writing.
